Modern Tub to Shower Conversion in Chelsea, AL

Our client was needing to convert this standard tub to a shower for an older parent that was going to be living with them. We were more than happy to make this happen. Customer was very pleased when the project was completed on time and on budget.

After getting the approval from the homeowner we temporarily capped off the existing plumbing during the demo process. Once the demo was complete we jumped on converting the tub drain to a shower drain. Next we installed a new shower valve and roughed in for a handheld shower on a slide bar. After that the subfloor was sloped to allow the new PVC shower liner to properly drain dry. After testing it was smooth sailing. Tile went in and we were able to add the finishing touches.

This one turned out really nice!
